Jenna Druck

Jenna Druck Celebration

Jenna Anne Druck (1975-1996)

Jenna Druck not only loved life – she embraced it with every fiber of her being, she was filled with boundless energy and enthusiasm.

Jenna’s accomplishments show that passion:

Beyond those achievements, Jenna was a true friend, a loving sister, and an adored daughter. Her dedication was fierce, her potential was unlimited, and her sense of social justice has inspired all of us.

At age 21, Jenna Druck was killed in a tragic bus accident in India while studying abroad on the Semester-at-Sea program. Like many others, her life ended senselessly and suddenly.

Jenna Druck believed in living life to its fullest and brought her special quality of love and compassion to every life she touched.

Her spirit lives on through the works of The Jenna Druck Foundation.

HOPE

I weep for the mermaids, the fairies, and the unicorns.
For the rejection of their existence is so many in number.
And with each denial, another dream dies
and another hope lessens.
And with each fateful word of “I don’t believe,”
another child’s innocence is lost.
And if all the “I don’t believes” in this world are right,
I give my dreams, hopes, and passions to the soul
who created these legends.
For I live in his imagination as my dreams soar eternally.
I endure the pain of the world because “I do believe”
is my undying prayer.
